BOTTOMS OVER BROADWAY
THEME: Broadway | PREMIERE: July 20, 2007 @ Collective:Unconscious
ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCES: 7/21/07
When Nasty Canasta and Jonny Porkpie are offered the chance to bring Pinchbottom to Broadway, they immediately call on all of the talented and wonderful people who helped make their off-off-Broadway show such a hit... to ask them to audition, Chorus Line-style. But can Pinchbottom hit just the right balance of schlock, cheese and overblown production numbers necessary to appeal to a Broadway audience? Or will they resort to doing burlesque tributes to existing "classics", such as Cats, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Jukebox Musicals, The Glass Menagerie, and everything in between? In this Broadway extravaganza, there's only one rule: No Gypsy.
PREVIOUS SHOW: "...and the HORSE YOU RODE IN ON!"
NEXT SHOW: BURLESQUE FOR KIDS! (Not for kids)
PRESS CLIPPINGS

"This time, Jonny Porkpie and Nasty Canasta’s cleverly themed burlesque dreams of the Great White Way—kick line, chorus girls, catsuits and all. Their meticulous homage even includes Broadway Style Pricing, which allows audience members to pay exorbitant prices, just like the fancy folks uptown." more press »
